What we ask

Six things, all of them about safety.

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Pass a background check
  • Own a smartphone
  • Have your own insured, registered, and inspected car
After you apply

VALET is pre-launch in Greenville. We bring drivers on in small groups as we get ready to open, so the next step may take a few weeks. We will email you either way.

  1. 1We send you a download linkWhen we are ready for your group, you get an email with a link to download the VALET driver app.
  2. 2We invite you to the full applicationWhen it’s your turn, we email you a link to the full application: your license, your car’s details, driving history, photos of your documents, and background-check consent. It saves as you go.
  3. 3Review and background checkWe verify your driving record and run a standard background check, then let you know the result.
  4. 4Accepted? Train with the teamYou get a chance to train with us on the two-driver system, in both seats, before you take a ride.
  5. 5First ride as a teamWhen we open in Greenville, you are matched with a partner and take your first ride out.
